The 5 th race of the Caesarean Cycling Clubs winter series for under 12 year olds sponsored by Mark Pickford Cycles and Vittel was held at Val de la Mare recently.

Running in the usual format the afternoons racing a=was started by the under 5's, once again Ben Le Rougetel lead from the whistle and extended his lead comfortably to the finish. Thomas Pollard was second but only after holding off a strong challenge from newcomer Luke Huelin.

Sammy Kermin dominated the 6 & 7 year old class. Jack Lutz had a strong ride to take second from Luc Mon Petit-Le Brun. Samuel Maher rode a great race to finish 4 th after a start line incident with other riders left him trailing towards the back.

Once again the older 2 classes were combined for their race over a slightly longer course.

George Milner took the win in the 10 & 11 class from Steffan Kermin. Nikita Connan continues to improve and took a well deserved third.

Harry Garnham took the honours in 8 & 9 year old class. Oliver Lowthorpe had his best race to date with second from the consistent Hugh Percival in 3 rd .

Next race is the replacing the postponed event and will be held at Belle Hougue Farm on 11 th March 2.30pm start.
