Amoy Series 5 Mile Time Trial, La Saline, 30 April 2002

A cold south westerly wind could not deter 19 members of the Caesarean Cycling Club from riding the club’s first evening 5 mile time trial of 2002. Steve Grieg won by nearly a minute in a time that implied the wind had not slowed him in any way. Towards the other end of the field Steve’s wife Sue made a welcome return to racing. Other new faces included David Mayman and Martin Simpson who having posted their first performances can now look forward to improving their times as the weather warms up.
