Freewheel Championships, 2 October 2005
Sunday's early morning rain just eased off in time for the easiest event on the club's 2005 calendar although the blustery northerly wind meant no new records were achieved on the new north road in St. John. Most of the favourites for the Freewheel Championship fell by the wayside and the largest entrant in the shape of Noel Hayden took the honours well clear of a closely packed quartet of Dave Mayman, Mike Harris, John Du Feu and Sam Firby.
