A warm and sunny evening led to good conditions. Rather than the tradititional start/finish at the brow of the hill coming up from Le Vesconte Monument, there was a sprinters' finish in the dip, just before Les Platons car park. It was good to see mountain bike rider Hélène Monpetit in her first road race.
