The following "Summer7" Series information is from VSJ:
Flatfee.je Summer 7 Track Series Details Released
The VSJ Race Committee are pleased to announce in conjunction with sponsor www.Flatfee.je the format for the next Track Series the Summer 7 commencing Thursday 16th June at the Frank Machon Track.
The series will be based on seven races, with the results of the best six to count. All races will be based on the 4 divisions and will alternate each week in terms of which division sets off first. Racing kicks off each week at 6:45 swiss time!
Each race will be 12 laps and will incorporate a sprint at laps 4 and 8 with points being allocated to the first three riders across the line, (3, 2, & 1 points). At the finish line, points will be awarded to 1st nine finishing riders, 10 for the winner, 8 for second, 7 for third and down to 2 points for 9th. The highest aggregate score over the series best of six per rider will count.
Fees are £25.00 for the series payable up-front or £5.00 per event and the first race begins on the 16 June. |
