This 12.5 mile up hill course was the first time used on 10 June 2008. Starting at La Pulente, the route went along the five mile road continuing up Mont Pinel passed the car park before turning left into La Route de L’Etacq. After going around the rock it returned to Mont Pinel and turning left went further up the hill to the sharp left turn into Mont des Corvees. At the end, there was a left turn onto the Bal Tab circuit (in reverse). Following this all the way round and then on to St. Ouen’s village and down to the finish at St, Ouen’s Manor.

Course records were set and the fastest time of 30:36 was achieved by two riders – Adam Wojtkiewicz and Robin Ovenden. Helen Goulding was fastest lady (35:57), Chris Seviour fastest junior (31:35), Kevin Pilley fastest veteran (31:59) and Keith Davis fastest recumbent rider in (31:39)
