Five members of the Caesarean Cycle Club travelled to the Midlands on Sunday 4 June to compete in the 2006 National 25 mile Time Trial Championships. The event, which took place near Royal Leamington Spa, attracted a field of over 150 riders. The course is described as sporting as there were a number of hills and long drags. It was made harder by the unusually high temperatures, which were in the mid 20's.

The men's event was won by Jason McIntyre in 50:43 and the women's by defending champion Wendy Houvenaghel in 57:38.
