On the occasion of the 3rd May Constitution Day, CCC's Adam Wojtkiewicz participated, among another 600 cyclists, in the MTB race in Szczawno Zdroj. This race was organised by Czeslaw Lang, the former road cycling champion, vice champion from Moscow Olympic Games, and current Director of the Tour de Pologne - the only ProTour class race in Poland. He was also one of the race participants. There were other champions racing as well. Another worthy of mention was Zbigniew Krzeszowiec, who came back to the saddle after a 20 years break. Lang admitted that this MTB Marathon was extremely difficult. The route took participants through Chelmiec Mountains, whith many bends, very hard climbs and technically difficult downhills, with tiny rocks under the wheels and mud covering almost whole course.
Adam Wojtkiewicz took an excellent 7th place in the master M3 class, 39th in overwall which was a great result along side professional champions.
