The MTB section recently received a thank you letter in response to a donantion made to Jersey Hospice Care. The donation was made up from the race entries and donations from riders at the recent Mountain Bike Race at Val de la Mare. |

Tim Hubert and Ian Cabot competed in the Cape Epic MTB 2011 race over 8 days, 707 kilometres, 14,550 metres of climbing. The organisers say it is the hardest mountain bike race in the world and having completed the journey we are not disagreeing. |

The competitive cycling season finally kicked off for Jo
le cocq and Kim Ashton on the weekend of 16th and
17th April but all did not go to plan. |

CCC member Cameron Arnell was in town on Saturday 28 May taking part in his own Cycle Challenge raising money for Headway, the local Brain Injury charity. Headway helped Cameron during his recovery from a Brain injury. Cameron rode a 100 miles on a turbo trainer in Kings Street. |

On the weekend of the 5th of June Rhys Hidrio, Kieron Mills and Erik Le Brun of the Caesarean Cycling Club travelled to compete in round 3 of the Southern Cross Country Mountain Bike Series to carry on their training for the 2011 Island Games. |
