Saturday Club Run at La Mare Slip @9:00am
Changes to Saturday club run, after extensive research as to why the Saturday club run was not well attended, we received feedback that the run was either too slow or too fast. So in order to cater for those who want to train for racing i.e. div 2/3 and those who want a slightly slower pace, we are going to introduce the following changes.
The ride will start from La Mare slip and head to St Catherines as one group at the normal average of 17 mph, at that point slower riders can go up the hill and faster Group around the rock.
It is expected that we will re-group around Bouley bay, ride together until the turn at Haute Croix where the pace will increase for those who want a faster ride, then re-group at St Marys and continue as one group until the left turn after St Ouens village, where it will split again.
We are open to further suggestions, as this is similar to the current run, but hopefully the above will encourage a larger number to attend the Saturday run.
