CCC Roller Racing - February 1952
They don’t play the National Anthem or have roller racing in cinemas anymore, but they did when the club organised roller racing in the early 1950s. The rollers and the clock were provided through the local Dunlop representative Ernie Saunders. The racing was over either a 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile standing or flying start and the fastest speed recorded was 69 mph by Bob Gomersal.
